to run pyBM v.0.6.2 over tor, configurations must match:

./keys.dat:
sockslisten = False
port        = 8444    # external or internal listen
onionport   = 8445    # external listen
onionbindip = 127.0.0.1

/etc/tor/torrc:
HiddenServiceDir   /yourdir                      # typical:  /var/lib/tor/BM
HiddenServicePort  8445     127.0.0.1   :8444
#HiddenServicePort onionport 127.0.0.1   :port
#HiddenServicePort onionport onionbindip :port

port        = 8444                              # EXTERNAL (clearnet) or INTERNAL (tor) port bitmessage listens on
onionbindip = 127.0.0.1                         # IP address bitmessage listens on
onionport   = 8445                              # external port advertised to network for other nodes to connect to

the BM wiki people have deliberately made sure that the wiki FAQ will be totally useless and unhelpful.

Thank god , UBF comes to the rescue !

the BM wiki sucks like hell !

3

do not forget the line :

onionhostname = aaaaali4nfzpm333.onion

or whatever ure onion is in reality

4

in keys.dat file  you need the line with  onionhostname

5

socksport   is  9150    for  TorBrowserBundle

9050  for  regular  tor service

6

see also the fossil wiki:

http://fossilrepos.sourceforge.net/srv.fsl/450/wcontent

http://fossilrepos.sourceforge.net/srv. … t+settings

directly to fossil wiki

Link   not working, as always. web tech sucks.
